From Poiana to Râșnov, along Via Transilvanica
We set off from Poiana Brașov, pass through Poiana Mică and descend through the forest down to Râșnov — where our route meets Via Transilvanica, the 1,400 km path linking Putna to Drobeta. We show you an andesite waymark (the trail’s signature) and share the story of Terra Borza Teutonica, the recently opened Brașov section that ties together 18 villages between Viscri, Bran, Zărnești and Brașov. The way back is the bus from Livada Postei to Poiana Brașov — a ~30-minute ride.
